Tárrega: "There are still games remaining in which to pick up points"
The defender reviews the game against Celta Vigo
César Tárrega spoke with VCF Media to reflect on the 2-3 defeat to Celta Vigo on LaLiga Matchday 30.
Self-criticism
We played a good first half. Despite using a low defensive block and not creating much with the ball, we were solid at the back. Celta Vigo weren't able to hurt us in the first half. They turned the game around in the space of two minutes in the second half, and these things shouldn't happen.
A game of two halves
Their three substitutions threw us off, and we also need to improve our play with possession and find ways to give ourselves space to breathe. We need to rewatch the match to analyse it and make improvements.
Regrouping
We wanted to build on the victory in Seville and we started well, with determination. There are still games ahead for us to continue picking up points.
